Spanning across more than 100 hectares (247 acres), Domaine de Sédières is a vast area that is home to gently-rolling hills, water bodies and the spectacular Château de Sédières. The castle is a classic example of Renaissance architecture that looks nothing less than an archaic jewel ensconced emerald landscapes. Several smaller buildings in addition to a large courtyard and a drawbridge form this magnificent castle which is a product of the imagination of Jean Boutier. For a brief time, the castle served as an orphanage but it later saw a state of disrepair. Today the castle and its adjoining area is under the able protection of General Council of the Corrèze. Domaine de Sédières is usually used for many cultural events and it's the main venue for Festival de Sédières.
