Some of these slides are only to be found here, not in the rest of Italy: the double 'Black Hole' that runs completely underground, which you travel through on a rubber tire, and the frightening 'Stukas', high and steep enough to frighten anyone. There are also more well known attractions like the 'Anaconda' or the brilliant 'Water Jump'.

Palazzo Chiericati situated on the street of Piazza Giacomo Matteotti is an architectural gem and nothing short of a landmark in the city. It was designed by Palladio in 1550 and completed more than a century later due to the non-traditional nature of its architectural design. The ground floor has an unusual amount of open space and an internal salon runs parallel to the building s façade, whereas comparable salons are built perpendicular. These characteristics and the generous amount of porticoes and loggias have an effect of lightness as if the building was made of only light and air.

In Piazza dei Signori is the Basilica Palladiana, which is also known as the Palazzo della Ragione, the symbolic monument of Vicenza. The basilica encircles the preexisting, Gothic buildings from the fifteenth century, where justice used to be administered, with a double order of loggias, the work of Palladio. It was his first, important commission and launched his fortune in the city and his career. Palladio created a beautiful building, which manages to be light and imposing at the same time. On the right, a staircase goes up to the Loggia and leads to the large, luminous, Gothic salon. On the ground floor are galleries and porticoes with antiques and crafts shops. Every year the basilica hosts important architecture and art shows.

This stunning theater is known for having the oldest existing stage set in the world. The set was originally built for the theater's first performance in 1585 and is still used to this day. The stage set has a Roman-style influence, but the "marble" is actually made out of wood, plaster and stucco. The Teatro Olimpico was designed by the famed Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio and was completed after his death. One can take a tour of this beautiful theater or enjoy a memorable show here.

Together, with the Basilica di Sant'Antonio, Palazzo della Ragione is a symbol of the city. Built in 1288, it is called the Salone, or lounge, because of its large room with its wooden vaulted ceiling (destroyed and rebuilt many times over the centuries), making it the largest undivided hall in the world. The piazza and the bustling daily market are dominated by its loggia. It was a real layman's center in the city. Justice was carried out in the upper rooms, adorned with frescoes of astrological depictions (perhaps even by Giotto). If the sentence was serious, the accused would be taken to one of the local prisons. The building also houses a large wooden horse that Annibale Capodilista had made for a merry-go-round and then donated to the city. On the ground floor, traditional commercial activities took place, as they still do today.

Located in Mestre, Parco San Giuliano hosts a number of varied events throughout the year. The Heineken Jammin Festival is one of the most well known events that takes place here. Theater productions, fairs, and much more are also common. There is always something happening in this verdant, open park. The park also features a cycling track, health paths and various other recreational facilities that visitors can make the most of.

Scuola Grande di San Rocco, a stunning building was built during the Renaissance period but displays traces of successive interventions up until the Baroque period. Scuola Grande di San Rocco is often used as a concert hall, and is next to the San Rocco Church with which it is often mistaken. It is dedicated to Rocco, who cured the sick during the 14th-century plague. The interior decoration of the school was entrusted to Jacopo Tintoretto, whose works, such as the Allegories, Life and Passion of Christ, and episodes from the Old and New Testaments can be admired. Among the most famous displays are The Annuciation, The Epiphany, and The Flight to Egypt. It is open throughout the year except for a few occasions.
