Established in 1974, this iconic bar is one of the oldest and most popular watering holes in the city. The bar rose to prominence as a favorite with the student set at the Texas A&M University. The wood-bedecked interiors are rustic, but warm and cozy. Wooden tables, with every inch scrawled with graffiti tell the story of a generation of students who've made merry at Dixie Chicken. The food menu is dominated by burgers and sandwiches, offering such delights as Double Meat Hamburger, Freddy Burger, Rooster Burger Basket and Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich. Christopher's World Grille
Birthday, anniversaries or dates, whatever the occasion, Christopher's World Grille is the place to celebrate in Bryan. The restaurant provides a fine dining experience, with top notch service and excellent food. The restaurant structure itself goes back as far as 1913 and the ambiance still maintains some of its charm from then.
