Eugene Science Center is operational with a mission of engaging and inspiring children towards learning about science and technology. The museum constantly changes and upgrades exhibits, educational programs, planetarium shows, field trips and similar activities in a safe learning environment to encourage children in discovering different sides of science. It is a non profit entity working with the help of volunteers who contribute to enrich the lives of the children and the community as a whole.
Built in 1914, the Hope Abbey Mausoleum has some really amazing Egyptian-style crypts and niches which are on display. It has been constructed in Egyptian revival style with its doors made from copper. The entrance to this place has a massive archway which is covered in ancient Egyptian symbols. Tours are available of this place where visitors can learn about the history of Egypt and its culture.

Steeped in rich history and heritage, this area of the town is a haven for history buffs and avid explorers. Lined along the Main Street here are scores of shops, restaurants, cafes and more. The weekly farmer’s market is held right here, inviting tourists to experience the best of the town’s culture and rendezvous with the gregarious townsfolk.
