Within the picturesque Tlaquepaque Village, this upscale eatery is perfect for celebrating special occasions and impressing visitors. The elegant cuisine is prepared under the direction of Executive Chef Walter Paulson and is served with the utmost attention to detail. The signature dish is the Colorado Rack of Lamb ala René for two, carved tableside. An exceptional wine list offers quite a few selections in the USD25-40 per bottle range. This sibling to Keiser's West is the more upscale of the two, offering dining in an elegant but casual atmosphere. It is decked out in desert tones with wicker chairs, hanging lamps and chandeliers. Lunch menu items include soups, salads, sandwiches and burgers. Dinner selections include what are purported to be, "The Finest Barbecue Baby Back Ribs in the Known Universe." Judi's homemade specialties like the Butter Brickle Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Pie are legendary. The award winning, full bar features wines by the glass.
Historic Brewing Company is the dream of John Kennelly who along with his sister, Carole, brother, Tom and mom, Sherrill, opened this brewery in 2013. Though it is relatively new, this microbrewery has garnered enough attention due to their delicious brews and friendly ambiance. Their taproom is open every Wednesday through Sunday, though the timings are limited and differ during weekends. It features nine taps which includes their regular and rotating beers. You can also buy their merchandise from their on-site store.
Flagstaff could be considered a paradise for those who enjoy beer because of the great breweries that are located here, like the Beaver Street Brewery, Flagstaff Brewing Company, Lumberyard and Hops on Birch. And though it's not a brewery per se, the beers here are all wonderfully crafted.
