Resting right on the beach in Laguna, this hotel is the ultimate in luxury. The hotel is ideal for romantic weekends; you can hear the crashing waves from your room and every room has a private balcony with an ocean view. Get a room on the second floor if you can, where the view is the best. Rooms are pricey but well worth it. The service is impeccable and they will cater to your every need. Splashes, the hotel restaurant, serves Mediterranean cuisine and you can even pamper yourself at their on-site spa.
Waking up on the sand doesn't have to cost a fortune, thanks to the Crystal Cove Alliance, which saved Crystal Cove Beach Cottages from becoming a private resort. There are 40 cottages located either on the beach or the bluff top. Each has a unique theme, and was built between the 1920's and 1930's by individual vacationers. In recent years, the Crystal Cove Alliance has restored about half of them, and is continuously raising funds to restore the rest of them. Reservations need to be made seven months in advance. Due to huge popularity, all cottages are booked out on the day reservations open up. – Hoiyin Ip
When visiting Disney and you wish to stay somewhere away from all the crowds, but close enough to all the action that Walt has to offer, then the Hotel Indigo Anaheim is your best choice. The property is highly recommended because it's several minutes away from the parks, parking is complimentary and the modern, comfortable rooms exude elegance without that dated decor as you sometimes find at other Disney area hotels. Other amenities include an on-site restaurant, fitness center, ergonomic work desks, organic toiletries and if you are traveling with your pet, the property allows them for a non-refundable deposit.
