The Wheel of Liverpool is a distant cousin of the London Eye, and provides tourists with stunning panoramic views of the city of Liverpool, its historic waterfront, and the mountain ranges in the distance. Rising 60 meters (525 feet) in the air, the wheel has 42 capsules, each with a capacity to seat 8. The rates are very affordable, and each ride lasts for approximately 10 minutes. Bridgewater House

Halkyn Castle

Built in Tudor Revival architectural style, Halkyn Castle's notable architectural characteristics include its turrets, towers, castellated walls and chimney stacks. Halkyn Castle was built for Robert Grosvenor between the period 1824 and 1827. It was built to the designs of John Buckler, a noted architect. Grosvenor was the 2nd Earl Grosvenor during the construction of Halkyn Castle and later, he became 1st Marquess of Westminster. On different occasions, the castle building was used for residential purpose as well as a sporting rest area. Douglas and Fordham, renowned architects from Chester created an Elizabethan style extension to the Halkyn Castle on the orders of the 1st Duke of Westminster. Today, only the neighboring park and a large informal garden survive at the castle's site. Halkyn Castle is marked as a Grade II listed monument by Cadw.
