Among the many historic structures based in Los Encinos State Historic Park, the Blacksmith’s Shop was built in the 1870s. Today, free demonstrations of the metal craft are offered to visitors once a month by the two volunteers running this facility.

This installation has a conspicuous spire that's believed to be almost 100 feet (30.48 meter) tall. The ship is also protected by a 140-feet (42.67 meter) wall that's embedded with shards of colorful glass, broken tiles, and sea shells.
