Basilica of St. Josephat

This Basilica is located in the Lincoln Village neighborhood south of downtown and it is dedicated to Roman Catholicism. When it was built in 1901, the congregation was primarily the Polish immigrant community and named after the Polish martyr Josephat Kuncevyc. The architecture is beautiful, reminiscent of St. Peter's in Rome, albeit on a smaller scale. Basilica of St. Josephat is open daily for both mass or for a visit.

Pabst Mansion

More than a century old, this mansion still stands as a testament to the the beer magnate and his subsequent legacy. Opened to the public in 1978 after extensive renovations, it remains one of the finest residences in the city and no cost or innovation would be spared in its redesign. The whole mansion had electricity and plumbing for nine bathrooms when it was built in 1892, a major architectural triumph. Today it has a state-of-the-art heating system which regulates the heat in the mansion with 16 thermostats and custom-built furniture for the majority of its rooms. Now a major tourist attraction, the mansion can also be rented for weddings, business conferences and other events.

Historic Third Ward

The Historic Third Ward is Milwaukee's Arts and Fashion District. It offers the city's most dynamic array of restaurants, spas, theaters, galleries, and unique boutiques all in a historic warehouse setting. The neighborhood is home to the award-winning Third Ward Riverwalk and the Milwaukee Public Market. Located just three blocks south of Downtown, a walk through Historic Third Ward is sure to be a pleasant and memorable experience.

North Point Lighthouse

Situated in the beautifully manicured Lake Park, the North Point Lighthouse gracefully overlooks the waterfront. Nestled in a picture-perfect setting, this iconic lighthouse has been serving as Milwaukee's beacon for over decades. Having been restored to its original glory, the lighthouse proudly overlooks the surrounding droves of trees, and the sparkling blue waters of Milwaukee Bay that abut it. The lighthouse also functions as a museum on the weekends, highlighting the structure's long-standing history with Lake Michigan and boating in the region.

Cedarburg Covered Bridge

Gracing the sublime landscape of the Covered Bridge Park, the Cedarburg Covered Bridge is a popular landmark. Counted among the oldest bridge of its kind in all of Wisconsin, this historic bridge was constructed in the late 1800s. Formerly known as the Red Bridge, the Cedarburg Covered Bridge is a rare gem, boasting of captivating lattice truss construction. While the bridge was earlier open to vehicular traffic, its gradual wearing off forced town authorities to prohibit vehicles form using the bridge. Today, the bridge is frequented by hiking and biking enthusiasts, or those simply looking for a pleasant photo op. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, this bridge is must-visit destination of the town.

Basilica of Holy Hill National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians

Built upon a mound at Hubertus, Basilica of Holy Hill National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians is a holy center for Christians and attracts many devotees from afar. It was constructed in 1930 CE and has a Romanesque-revival architectural style. Statues of Saint Joseph and Saint Mary can be seen at the entrance. There are 178 steps that one can climb in order to experience a panoramic view of the city skyline from the church.
