O edifício vem do século 17 e a comida é boa, no antigo estilo norueguês. Durante a época de Natal, a gente não pode perder o tradicional lutefisk. O primeiro andar tem uma secção reservada para as festas privadas. No verão, jante ao ar livre no pátio. O jazz ao vivo no Dixieland acontece todos os sábados a 13:30h na cafeteria no piso térreo, que serve as simples refeições tradicionais, além dos bolos e sanduíches. Do outro lado da praça fica a Catedral de Oslo, construído mais ou menos na mesma época.
