Plaza De Toros Vicente Segura is a popular bullring arena in Pachuca. Opened in 1978, it is named after a native revolutionary and matador. Made up of reinforced concrete, its seats are also made of the same material. The circular-shaped arena doesn't have a single bad seat and you can catch the action from all angles. It regularly hosts bullfighting series. Besides bullfights, it is the base of the Pachuca Fair and at times used for political rallies.
Shaped like a pyramid, Polifórum Carlos Martínez Balmori is a sports center located in the premises of Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo. The arena offers state of the art infrastructure and facilities for sports like basketball, football, taekwondo, table tennis, among many activities. This huge indoor arena was built in 2001 and has been a great platform for the students from the university to take part in sports and cultural activities with needed guidance and supervision. With 12 luxurious suites, two gymnasiums, lockers and ample dressing rooms for multi-purpose events, this is a great place for hosting concerts, seminars or conferences.
