Lindau Lighthouse dates back to 1853 and is a marvelous lighthouse located on Lake Constance. It has spectacular architecture and is open to public. The lighthouse provides breathtaking panorama of the surrounding region, and hence, is well known for photography. The clock embedded in its facade is one of the most remarkable features of the attraction. Located in close proximity to the lighthouse is the striking sculpture of a lion, popularly termed the 'Bavarian Lion'. Together, these two landmarks form a stunning backdrop for the Lindau harbor, considered one of the best harbor entrances on the lake.

FLATZ Museum organizes lectures, discussions and even lends their exhibits to other exhibition centers and museums as well.

An old monastery that was founded in the 12th Century, Kloster Weißenau is a significant structure in Ravensburg. The monastery was dissolved post secularization but the buildings are well preserved. The abbey church of Saint Peter and Paul is a noteworthy building dating back to the 18th Century. The ballroom of the convent is used for local concerts and can seat up to 300 people. The Zentrum für Psychiatrie Weißenau is housed in one of the monastery buildings.
A one-of-its-kind museum solely dedicated to the female human is the Hittisau Women's Museum. The museum opened in 2000 and displays a wide collection of exhibits that highlights the life of women in the Bregenzerwald region. Besides exhibits, the museum also conducts workshop, presentations and community gatherings.
