Opened in 2001, the Killesbergturm is an observation tower which rises to a height of 42 meters (137 feet). Recognizable by its unique design where the curvy surface is supported by a steel net from the outside, the highest point of the tower offers a panoramic view of the city.
Birkenkopf is a tall hill which is located in the beautiful neighborhood of Wangen. This artificial hill was created post World War II with the rubble of the city ruins as a memorial for the locals who lost their lives. The hilltop is adorned with a cross that is a symbol of peace and happiness for the city's future. The hill also has some ruins from the war that are interesting to look at. A visit to this hill is like paying homage to the martyrs of the city. A few ruins of the war are still intact and are worth a look.

Located on the grounds of an old castle, the garden was established in the 19th Century and receives millions of visitors from all over the world annually. From primates, elephants, hippos to an aquarium and a sea lion pool, the zoo evokes awe among kids and adults alike. The botanical garden is also home to greenhouses and rare plants including one of Europe's oldest Magnolia Grove. With so much to see, the Wilhelma is a must-visit.
Feuerseeplatz in Stuttgart is recognized as the host of the Church of St John, a majestic neo-Gothic church standing on a peninsula in the center. Found in front of the church is partially surrounded by the Feuersee Lake offering delightful views of the city. This is a wonderful little place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Feuerseeplatz looks most impressive at night when the illuminated church's reflection can be seen in the lake.
The Mercedes-Benz Arena was formerly known as many names such as: Century Stadium, Kampfbahn, Neckarstadion, and Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion. The stadium was built by German architect Paul Bonatz and can hold a crowd of more than 60,000. The arena is a major soccer venue in the city and is home to Vfb Stuttgart (a Bundesliga Team). The headquarters, factory and museum of the Mercedes brand is near the stadium.
Located in the neighborhood of Bad Canstatt, this mineral bath features attractive architecture with a curved glass roof over the indoor pool to let in the light, with fountains and classical statues. The baths have two large mineral water pools with warm thermal brine and a pool with naturally cool, highly carbonated water. When around this place, there's nothing like a soothing and refreshing mineral water drench.

This is an open-air museum laid out in a park at the foot of the Karlshöhe after the fashion of Italian Renaissance gardens. It's a particularly delightful way to become acquainted with Stuttgart's architectural and cultural history. Also, there are more than two hundred statues to marvel at.
Botanischer Garten der Universitat Hohenheim is a beautiful garden maintained by the University of Hohenheim. Tucked inside the university campus, this garden is a priced possession of the Universitat Hohenheim. It is also called as Neuer Botanischer Garten and was established in the 19th Century to study vegetation growth in the country from the last recorded Ice Age. Housing close to 7000 plants, the garden hosts varieties like medicinal plants, Peperomia, Maranthes, Gymnocalycium etc. Also, its hosts many sub-tropical and tropical greenhouses as well. The garden is open for visitors daily throughout the year and invites all the botany enthusiasts for visitation. While the entry to the garden is free of cost, a guided tour is priced.
