Gorna Gorica

Gorna Gorica, formerly known as Goricë e Madhe, is an idyllic village situated in the very heart of the municipality of Pustec in Albania. It is just a stone's throw away from the magnificent lake Prespa, and is flanked by the hamlet of Tuminec. The village was once home to Pelion - the fortified historic settlement belonging to the ancient Greek tribe of Dassaretae. The remains of Pelion's ancient fortress are still extant. Do give this place a visit if you happen to be in Pustec.
