Exploring grand elements of Gothic architecture is the Rabstejnek Castle of Pardubice region of Czech Republic. The castle is known for its ornate details and was established in the beginning of the 13th Century. The building gets its name from the word “Rabenstein” that roughly translates to “raven’s nest” and that is because of its shape, which resembles a nest. The structure had brilliant interiors but was destroyed and all the furniture was taken out. Today the castle is open to public tours.
