Located in the lakeside city of Waren, Müritzeum is a place of exotic wonder and discovery which also serves as the information center for nearby Müritz National Park. Opened in 2007 and built at the cost of 13 million euros, this trove of natural treasures includes the biggest freshwater aquarium in Germany, a water theater, a large children's museum and play area, a beautiful landscape park and a stunning exhibition on the rich variety of flora and fauna found in the region. Little children are sure to love the interactive displays, while adults will be swept away by the center's sheer size and authenticity of the displays. 275,000 exhibits, 25 aquaria, and 16,000 volumes in the in-house library may not be covered in one visit, which will keep you coming back for more. An architectural marvel in itself, the Müritzeum welcomes leashed dogs and is wheelchair friendly making it an ideal place for a day out with the entire family.
The histroic buildings of Malchow Abbey can be spotted quite easily from far away with its tall and imposing clock brick tower serving as a local landmark. Constructed in the 1840s, the church of the Malchow Abbey is a fine example of Gothic Revival architecture along with its neighboring monastic buildings which today serve as an exhibition space for artworks by various local, national and international artists. The museum is also home to Mecklenburgisches Orgelmuseum which has a splendid collection on the history of the music and organ building showcased in its large courtyard. The abbey's gardens are quite noteworthy as well, designed by Johann Jakob Christian Engel who was a former chef at the monastery. Guided tours of the premises are available to visitors for prices as low as three euros, making it a must visit for history and architecture enthusiasts!
Drehbrücke Malchow connects the old town of an island in Malchower See to districts on the western bank of the lake. It is the only hydraulic structure in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania to be operated and maintained by a municipality. From its original wooden structure in the 19th century to the pylon rotating bridge in the present day, it has served as a major connecting source for inhabitants on Malchow Island. During the summer, the bridge opens every full hour and that attracts a lot of curious onlookers.

Friedrich-Ebert-Park is a beautiful park in front of the unique city wall of Wittstock city. You can find impressive garden art and many beautiful trees around this place. It also houses the rose garden, the hostage garden, the Fontane garden, the wet meadow, the fuchsia garden, an adventure playground, and a garden information meeting point. The bishop’s castle and the office building are located at the southern end of this lush green land seen from the nearby St. Marien Church in the city.
Built in the year 1873, Stadtkirche Malchow in Germany was consecrated on November 2, 1873. It is in a shape of a cruciform church built from a wooden vault. It has an intrinsically designed ceiling and beautiful stained glass windows. A four-ring bell including three steel bells and a bronze bell hangs high on the church tower. Visitors to this site are mostly enchanted by the beautiful setting of this place.

Located on the outskirts of Wesenberg, the Kleiner Weißer See is a beautiful and scenic lake surrounded by dense forest lands on all sides. Spread over an area of 2 hectares (5 acres), the lake has a war memorial built on its western shore.
Roughly 30 European bison live in this enclosure. Their ancestors came from Bialowieza in Poland.
