Bellano

By Bellano is the Pioverna River that comes from Valsassina, and eventually leads to the lake. In the town, be sure to visit the churches of Santissimi Nazaro and Celso, Santa Marta, as well as the 14th-century San Nicolao Church. From Bellano, walk through Muggiasca and go up to Valsassina through a splendid, Alpine landscape.
