Jelawang Falls features a spectacular sheer drop of more than 305 metres. It is the highest waterfall in South-east Asia and, together with the nearby Gunung Stong (Kelantan's highest peak), it is ranked as the fifth best destination for eco-tourism in Malaysia. The strenuous climb to the top of the falls is well worth the effort. Climbers are rewarded with numerous mini falls ideal for swimming. Another bonus is the superb vista and the chance to sit at the top of the falls just two metres from sheer cliff walls.
