"New Nordic Cuisine"
Housed in the ancient Nordic House which was built and designed by Finnish architect Alvar Aalto, the DILL restaurant has a robust personality and thrives on simplicity. The restaurant was the result of a passionate dream of Chef Gunnar Karl Gíslason and Sommelier Ólafur Örn Ólafsson, who pioneered the Nordic kitchen revolution in Iceland. They bring to DILL a contemporary take on traditional Nordic cuisine, with dishes like Bixe Mad, lamb shanks, soups and salads - dressed in a modern avatar. An excellent wine program is also available, with recommended wines for each meal course.
