Museu de Arte de Ribeirão Preto, also known as the Ribeirao Preto Art Museum, is located in the heart of the city and was established in the 90's in an early 19th century former Recreation Society building. The museum has an exceptional collection of art by regional artists as well as work by some of the top artists in the country. The museum also frequently hosts exhibitions and art competitions that encourage local talent.
