The Riga City Council considers it to be the most ancient place of its kind. The dim candle lights, medieval interior with terrific decoration, waitresses wearing appropriate clothes, authentic food, all create a fantastic atmosphere. While it is rather expensive, it is worth visiting. There is space for 150 guests, and smoking and non-smoking areas.
