Caffe Pascucci is an inviting java house found in the heart of the city's marina precinct. Part of a popular chain of cafes, this Rimini outpost features an ambient atmosphere to relish hot, frothy concoctions and chilled libations. The cafe's exciting menu attracts coffee lovers with finely roasted brews made of premium-grade coffee beans sourced from Monte Cerignone, while one can also go for its equally exciting aperitifs and decadent desserts.
If you like real ballroom dancing, then this is the place for you. The Odeon Club, in Sant'Arcangelo di Romagna (home to the Sangiovese), is one of the few places where you can still dance to local music (often with live groups playing). The music they play is the best of its kind. Do not think that this place is just for old people either; in this area, a waltz or a polka are just as likely to attract young people. There is a restaurant/pizzeria next door which shares the club's name; a good place to start an evening out.
This discotheque is located in Riccione Alta, the most visited hill on the whole of the Romagnola Riviera. Models, VIPs, well-known local figures and many "beautiful people" have made this disco the most fashionable in the area. It is a real pleasure to sip a Cuba Libre in the sea breeze while sitting in the garden and admiring the dancers, and if the heat is too much, there is always the swimming pool. If you are hungry, have some barbecued fish prepared by the restaurant on the premises.
Like being in a science fiction film with extraterrestrial beings who materialize with sophisticated equipment which comes out of a colossal spaceship hovering over one of the four dance floors, all in a furious play of multicolored lights. All this and more at the Altro Mondo Studios (it is not called this by accident), one of the most famous discotheques in Europe, with large spaces (it can hold more than 2000 people), no architectural barriers, open to youth from all over the world. Very popular in both winter and summer, it frequently also hosts festivals and concerts. Do not forget that in the 1970s, Ray Charles and James Brown sang here!
In the center of piazza Gregorio da Rimini, the heart of early evening night life, La Cantinetta an eclectic pub-wine bar very popular with people of all ages, has been open for several months. Little tables outside, good wine, good beer, and very good puff-pastry snacks have drawn many visitors from the very beginning. The location in particular and the fact that it is among the largest in the square has made it the reference point before going to the discotheque and for midweek aperitifs. Particularly in summer, try sipping a good light wine accompanied by a piadina (grilled bread topped with salami or cheese) at the little wooden tables outside.
