Abram Demaree House is a historic home in Closter. Built in 1765, this was the humble abode of Abram Demaree and his family. It is a quintessential Dutch Colonial structure replete with sandstone, gable roof, original window trimmings and beautiful gardens. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
