Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge
"Sprawling Wildlife Refuge"
Unfurling along the desert plains of Wyoming, Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge is an expansive sanctuary home to an array of species. Bearing cultural significance, the landscape of this refuge is dominated by wetlands and shrublands, and the serenity afforded by the largely untouched natural habitats draw visitors looking to retreat into a world of peace and quiet. The refuge, whose topography is shaped in part by the trajectory of the Green River, alternates between riverine and riparian habitats which intersperse the wetlands, and visitors can catch a glimpse of wildlife including swans, eagles, deer, antelopes, cranes and otters among others.
