The Myriad View Artisan Distillery produces modernized "moonshine", paying tribute to the bootleggers who provided alcoholic fun to the island during its 48 years of prohibition. The products include vodka, gin, rum and two present-day versions of the illegal, smuggled products of the past called Strait Lightening and Strait Shine. All are distilled, aged and bottled on Prince Edward Island. Tours and tastings are available for free of charge.
