Trattoria Sora Cencia is a typical Trastevere trattoria with a good quality–price ratio. The menu centers on simple, local specialties and reflects traditional Roman cooking. Spicy pasta dishes are cheap and satisfying. For a more substantial meal, Trattoria Sora Cencia boasts favorites, such as saltimbocca alla romana (veal rolls filled with ham and sage) and coda alla vaccinara (butcher-style stewed oxtail with tomato, a recipe made of humble meats that takes hours to prepare!).
