"Discovered by Accident"

Tomb of the Julii is found underneath St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican burial site. Discovered by accident, the tomb features a domed roof featuring a mosaic which illustrates Helios riding a chariot. The mosaic dates back to the early years of the 4th Century. Some other beautiful mosaics found in Tomb of the Julii include one which depicts Jonah with the monstrous whale and a honest shepherd with his lamb.
