The Feijenoord Stadion or De Kuip as it is fondly known was built between 1937 to 1937. It is the home ground of the Feyenoord club. It was nearly destroyed during World War II and was resurrected in 1949. This much-beloved football arena has undergone several changes in its many decades of existence. It also features a restaurant and a museum. It has been a popular place for concerts since 1978. Some of the artists who have performed here are Michael Jackson, Madonna, The Rolling Stones, U2, Eric Clapton and Guns N' Roses.
