"Beautiful Church"

The history of St. John's Cathedral can be traced back to the early 14th Century. Built as a parish church, this church is named after Saint John Evangelist. This church boasts of a classic Gothic architecture and its interiors feature a large organ from the 1600s and has rich interiors. Over the centuries, the church has been demolished, rebuilt, destroyed and renovated many times. The latest renovation of this church was completed in 2010 and Ton Mooy sculpted 25 new angels at the church. From these 25 angels, one angel is modernized and is seen wearing jeans and holding a mobile phone. Currently a this church is a place of worship for the Roman Catholics and is a must visit for its architectural beauty.
