"Variety Is Spice"
Erected in 1916 as a modernist theater building in the former courtyard of the Hospice of the Palace of the Counts of Alba y Aliste which is now the Parador of Zamora, Teatro Ramos Carrión was revived to its original glory after it was restored in 2011. During its long history, it was used as a movie theater and a conference center before being transformed into a versatile space. It was briefly left derelict, but thankfully, this historic gem is a hub for performing arts. Their program features a range of shows including theater, dance, musicals, lyrical theater, family shows, comedy, concerts, festivals, circus, ballet and magic shows.
