O Cravinho might be named after the 'carnation', the famous writer from Salvador Mario Cravo or the famous book from Jorge Amado; nonetheless there isn’t anyone who really cares when they're here. The reason why is because they have a ridiculous amount of Cachaça options. For those who don't know, cachaça could be considered Brazil's national liquor. It is used in everything, from the famous Caipirinha and Capiroska to infused versions with ginger and basil. O Cravinho offers more than 50 different types and there is some type of show every night of the week. Some of the acts include, the popular drum troupe Olodum and live music out on the plaza.
