Hotel Villa Bahia

The Hotel Villa Bahia is actually two colonial mansions that have been converted into one of the most charming hotels in the historic neighborhood of Pelourinho. The hotel offers 17 rooms spread over three floors and the ones on top have their own private terrace. The rooms have names like Cabo Verde, Madeira, Angola, etc. as a reference to Brazil’s colonial history. Amenities include air conditioning, cable TV, Wi-Fi and a serene pool within the atrium. Prices are expensive throughout the year and during the high seasons of Carnival and Yemanjá, it is nearly impossible to make a reservation.
