"Two Lakes Between SFSU & the Pacific"
The lakes and the green land surrounding them are considered one parkland of 740 acres. Though seemingly artificial, it actually receives most of its mass supplement from a natural spring and local ground water. The system's main issue has been the golf courses surrounding it since the 1980s, which slowly drain the city of one of its natural beauties. CalTrout, the same organization involved in Mono Lake, has greatly reduced the damage taken to the water levels.
