Albaola The Sea Factory

Situated just by the Bay of Pasaia, amidst ragged cliffs and lush green wood is Albaola The Sea Factory- the place where historic ships are restored. One of the few places in the country where one can find carpenters specialized in ancient woodwork, a visit to this place is a must, solely to admire the craftsmanship of the individuals. This one-of-a-kind museum tells tales of historic voyages, from the point of view of the vessels that sailed through the Bay of Biscay. Through interactive tours, the museum also touches upon the maritime history of the Basque region.
