Lorenzkirche is a time-honored Protestant house of worship in the heart of Sankt Georgen im Schwarzwald. Tracing its origins back to the year 1275, the present-day edifice was built in the 1860s. The church tower which existed prior to the 17th Century was remodeled in 1680. In the year 1913, the tower was further extended and is visible from quite a distance. Lorenzkirche serves as a fine example of Neo-Gothic architectural style in the Baden-Württemberg.
