The Miyanomori Ski Jump Stadium was inaugurated in 1969. Stretched to 104 meter (341 feet) across the length of the hill, this ski jump has been a venue for a number of prestigious events including the Winter Olympics of 1972. FIS Nordic Ski Championships were hosted here in 2007, a renovation preceded the tournament which saw the incorporation of a 90 meter (295 feet) platform called at K-Point.
