"A Veggie's Delight"
Catering to a rather liberal University District clientele, this open-air vegetarian eatery is where you can feel good about what you are eating. Breakfasts are delicious, but the lunches are also extremely popular; especially on weekends, when a line stretches out the door. There are two dining areas, an upper and lower, and the space is filled with natural light and fresh air. Being one of Seattle's pioneer vegetarian restaurants, it has a '70s feel. No meat is served; but the Tofu Scrambles, stir-fries, Blueberry Yogurt Pancakes, Brown Rice Salad and a variety of veggie sandwiches make diners forget their carnivorous ways.
