Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP)

The Museum of Pop Culture is one of the most interesting stops in Seattle. Located at the Seattle Center, this museum takes you through music history by immersing you in nearly 80,000 artifacts including photos, sound archives, costumes and musical instruments from notable artists. Most exhibits are interactive, allowing visitors to literally play with them. Also here is the Science Fiction Museum & Hall, which honors the greatest minds in the genre.

The Crocodile

Just look for the crocodile skin-patterned sign in the window and you'll have found this popular hangout in Seattle. Part eclectic diner, part rock club, it draws people from all over to its location in chic Belltown. Famous rock stars that have Seattle roots have been known to play inexpensive, unannounced shows at this happening location. Spend an eventful time as you indulge in live music with great lights, high-quality sound, and eclectic drink options at the small bar.

Town Hall Seattle

Housed in an historic Roman-revival-style building, the Town Hall in Seattle is very special to the people of the city. Constantly buzzing with art and cultural events, this place brings into focus the distinct music and energy Seattle has to offer. A must-visit for art lovers, this place hosts performances, dances, theater and concerts from time to time. The Town Hall is also used by dozens of organizations for their performances, meetings, banquets, exhibits, lectures, and social events.

Daniels Recital Hall

Surrounded by the likes of the 76-story Columbia Tower, the classical dome of this former church can seem lost in the cityscape. But the venue remains a lovely, calm setting for concerts and literary events throughout the week. Take note of the beautiful stained glass windows that adorn the walls here.

Lumen Field

Pride of Seattle's Pioneer Square, CenturyLink Field dominates its urban surroundings thanks to its sheer stature. Quite comfortably one of the largest stadiums in the city, the CenturyLink Field can accommodate numerous spectators at once. Built in the year 2002, it was originally known as the Seahawks Stadium. Mainly built for American Football however the field also manages to host soccer games due to its superior dimensions. The arena is home ground to the Seattle Seahawks and the Seattle Sounder FC.

Cornish Playhouse

Founded in Kirkland in 1972, Intiman Theatre outgrew two venues before finding its home in 1987 at Seattle Center. Notable shows include Into the Whirlwind, nationally recognized in 1990; the Kentucky Cycle, a Pulitzer Prize winner in 1992; and Three Tall Women, a Pulitzer Prize winner in 1995. The small, highly raked theater has good views of the stage from all seats. All seats cost the same, but ticket prices vary by show and time. The season runs March to December.
