This ten-year-old hotel, set just off the road leading into Hong Qiao Airport, is the best bet for short-term stays, especially if you have an early morning departure at the airport. Just a short taxi ride away is the celebrated Shanghai Zoo and Hong Mei Road, the home to many inexpensive Chinese and international restaurants. The hotel is also located close to Sassoon Park, a quiet park, which is good for jogging, reading and relaxing. Many Shanghainese couples come here to take wedding photographs.
