"Comfortable, Easy Going Local"
Known affectionately as The Tav, this traditional pub is a good no-nonsense place to have a drink. It usually seems busy (partly because it is small inside) and is a favorite with Broomhill residents. Although it isn't as flashy as some of its competitors, the Tav provides a comfortable (though perhaps slightly old-fashioned) drinking area, as well as an outdoor seating area, a relaxed vibe and service with a genuine smile. Drinks are reasonably priced and food (which is available between noon and 2p) offers exceptional value for money.
