Joe's Ices

Although the name of this cafe draws attention to its impressive range of sorbets, ice-creams and sundaes, it is more than a gelateria. The cozy decor is English domestic and the staff show traditional Yorkshire friendliness. Customers are offered a wider choice of teas than of coffees and cups are refilled at no extra cost. Lunches include sandwiches (hot, cold and toasted), jacket potatoes and main meals such as omelets, fish and chips or sausage and mash. There is also a separate children's menu. Full English breakfasts are available, including a vegetarian option with veggie burger and sausage.
