Tippling Club

Tippling Club is a wonderful restaurant that takes its guests on an unforgettable culinary journey that represents a fun and lively approach to international cuisine and drinks. Tippling Club is popular for its delicious tasting menu and fine selection of cocktails. The decor is quite interesting and reminds one of a warehouse art store while the seating of the bar is such that you get a good view of the restaurant and the scenic outdoors.

Burnt Ends

Styled in a contemporary fashion, Burnt Ends offers mouth-watering grilled preparations and refreshing beverages. Its smoked quail eggs starter is wonderfully prepared and has a rich, smokey taste. Burnt Ends is one of those few restaurants where guests can actually see the crew cooking and preparing some taste-bu-tingling delicacies. It remains open for dinner from Tuesday to Saturdays from 6p till late.

Chatterbox

Chatterbox is one of the best places to find Hainanese chicken rice, a local favourite. In fact, the dish is the star attraction here. The chicken is firm; the rice fragrant while the ground chilli sauce with ginger provides the finishing touch. Other local favourites include the King Prawn Fried Hokkien Noodles, Chatterbox Lobster Laksa . Burgers, sandwiches and salads are also available. The wine list presents the normal fare. The vibrant Asian flavors contrast with the subtle decor of the hotel and complement its warm hospitality which ensures a pleasant experience every time you dine here.

Paulaner Bräuhaus Singapore

This popular bar brews its own beer and serves a generally masculine clientele. Relatively quiet during the day, it starts filling quickly from about 6p when the office workers have finished their day. Of the three levels, the first is quite small and accommodates a few high tables and chairs. Alternatively, sit at the bar counter and chat with the friendly bartenders. Upstairs is a German restaurant where the pork knuckle and German sausages come highly recommended. Enjoy your beer indoors or alfresco. There is also a selection of liquors and wines sold by the glass or bottle.

Beaujolais Wine Bar

Beaujolais Wine Bar & Restaurant, in the heart of the city, allows the perfect setting for a succinct glass of wine and a fine meal. Whether dining with a special someone or reveling in the company of friends, the restaurant allows meals of fine wine and delectable cuisine. With a menu laden with global favorites such as quiche Lorraine, beef tartar and comforting homemade apple pie, it is easy to see why happy faces are common here. The Roti Prata House

For one of Singapore's simplest, but most satisfying meals head to the 24-hour Roti Prata House on Upper Thompson Road. It is famous for its crispy roti prata (flat bread) served with a bowl of curry gravy or lentil curry for vegetarians. There are many variations, including prata with egg, cheese, minced meat, coconut jam, and even durian! A couple prata washed down with a cup of teh tarik (frothy milk tea) is a cheap hearty meal. As delicious as it may be, The Roti Prata House should be avoided if you're watching your cholesterol, as nearly everything on the menu is fried!
