"Eco-friendly Winery"
Taking its name from the straw bales used to construct it, Strawbale Winery is nestled on a beautiful stretch of green land. Most parts of the building, including its tasting room and gift shop, are made from straw bales that help to decrease energy consumption and create a suitable environment for wine making. The counter tops in the tasting room are recycled black slate chalkboard, while the frames are made from timber and flooring from white pine. The winery produces more than 20 unique wines from grapes and other fruits such as black currants, raspberries, and strawberries. It also plays host to fun events such as musical and BBQ competitions and Sangria Sundays.
