The town of Sölvesborg, once one of Sweden's industrial cities, has since become a peaceful waterfront town with many historic attractions. It is known throughout Sweden for one of the highest promontories in the region, the Ryssberget, its historic buildings and factories, and the rich fisheries and seafood cuisine endemic to the region.
