Built in true Romanesque style, this church is very historic and is visited by thousands of pilgrims, simply for its majestic beauty. Inside the church complex one can find several chapels all of which have iconic resemblance. The church today stands as a head missionary for the Parish of Souillac, making it an important landmark of sorts. The Eglise Abbatiale Sainte-Marie is also open to religious meets and cultural gatherings.
