Upham is a small village in Hampshire, housing several historic attractions. The Holt is a beautiful country house in Upham and also marked as a Grade II listed structure. It served as the Shendley-Leavett family's seat for quite a long time, as well as the residence of the High Sheriff in Hampshire, John Alfred Leavett-Shendley. Some ruins of a prehistoric Roman villa are found in Little Woodcotte, close to Upham. This quaint village is also a starting point for several scenic country walks. It is enveloped by splendid countryside and a large part of the hamlet lies in South Downs National Park.
