Schloss Porcia

The stately Schloss Porcia can trace its beginnings to 1533 when Gabriel of Salamanca ordered a beautiful castle to be built by an Italian architect. Built in the heart of the city of Spittal an der Drau, this gorgeous castle still stands proudly and attracts tourists in plenty. A cafe within the confines serves delicious food while banqueting facilities are available for private events. Summers see a host of cultural activities being set against the stunning backdrop of this century-old wonder.
