The Whim Plantation Museum gives you a glimpse into how life was on an 18th-century sugar plantation. It is the only museum of its kind in the U.S. Virgin Islands and within its twelve-acres, the restored buildings, remnants of the factory and a restored windmill are all available to explore. The educational aspect includes information on the horrors of slavery, colonial history as well as the processing of sugar-based products.
