The Military Medical Museum of the Russian Federation preserves the collection of artifacts of Russian medical history. These artifacts include graphic arts, pharmaceuticals, uniforms, medical books and photographs belonging to various prominent figures of Russian medicine. It was founded in 1942 with the aim to preserve the dates and event of the development of Russian military medicine. The museum consists of 60 million documents supporting important events during the war as well as peace time.
