Yampa River Core Trail

This 7-mile (11.2-kilometer) trail traipsing through Steamboat Springs is one of the best ways to explore the city's many natural wonders. As the name suggests, the scenic trail traces the Yampa river and is a multi-use route but ideally explored on a bicycle. Picturesque scenes abound along the trail, but the highlight remains the Yampa River Botanic Park.
